Yes, you can sign-up in your tablet using your verified email address. However you will need your registered phone to receive your one-time-password (OTP) for verification purposes.
We use your verified email address in case you lose your phone or need to change your phone number. In adddition you can use your email address to login into your iPad/Android tablet.
The OTP is sent only to the phone number used during Sign-up. Please wait upto 2 minutes to receive the code on your registered phone number.
We will use this information only to find help close by to you and to allow others within the frugbi platform to add you as a friend.
We will use your address to find help close by to you and to allow other frugbi users verify that they know you. If your neighbors know that you are a verified user, you have a greater chance to receive and provide help. Help us verify your friends and we request that you get verified by your friends for more trusted connections.
We can show you frugbi users within your neighborhood so you can connect with them right away during sign-up. You can also allow only those in your neighborhood from seeing and responding to your help requests. Also, frugbi allows communities/neighborhoods to limit help to within the community.
Your data will not be shared with anyone outside the frugbi platform and it will be encrypted in flight as well as when stored.
frugbi allows each member to verify other members' name, address, and neighborhood. This creates trust and comfort in the community as members receive and give help.
This is on by default and frugbi will send you notifications when someone in your community requires help with something. If you turn this off, you will not get matched for helping anyone for the rest of the day.
This shows how many hours you have earned by helping your community. When you first sign up, this is zero. However, we allow you to borrow upto 3 hours of help. In otherwords, you can go negative by up to 3 hours. We encourage to provide and receive help to build a great vibrant community of yours.
frugbi allows you to borrow upto three hours of help from the community, In effect, we allow your hours balance to go to negative three. After this point, you have to help someone else before you can get more help.
Click on the + button on your Home Screen and add the required information. frugbi will find suitable matches for you based on the request.
You can use frugbi coins to supplement shortage of hours. You can use 500 coins to borrow an hour. Coins are awarded to members through referring new members to frugbi community (50 coins); educating new referred members completing their first task within a week (50 coins) or within in a month (25 coins). You also receive 20 coins for asking your friends to verify your address.
Coins are awarded to members that can be used to buy services and products within frugbi e.g borrow additional help hours from the community. Coins can be earned in many different ways e.g. referring friends to join frugbi.

These are requests for help from your community that frugbi has matched you with. Please accept requests if you are available at that time and you're interested.
Each help request is sent to multiple potential helpers. A requestor has the option to accept a helper based on many factors - in order to ensure that you get picked for atleast one help request, we encourage you offer to help on multiple requests. frugbi will remove all other requests that overlap once you confirm one for a particular time slot.
The 'Community needs help with' section of the Home Page are requests that your community has that have not been matched yet. You can offer to help with any of these tasks.
On your Home Screen see the section called 'What's going on around me?' This shows you what categories and what help people around you need. If you want to help with a category that you have not currently selected, you can click on the 'Add Category' button.
No. frugbi will add this task to your 'Offer to help' list. You can decide if you want to help or not when you review this list.
Each help request is sent to multiple potential helpers, and each potential helper may have offered to help many others at the same time. Please accept your matches quickly to ensure that the helper's time is blocked to help you.
You can choose to auto-confirm requests from friends/favorites/neighborhood to ensure that once your help request is accepted by a helper, you do not need to confirm the help.
It indicates the percentage of canceled tasks to the total number of help requests a member has completed.
frugbi shows the cancelation rate to members looking to provide or receive help. They may choose to skip a member that has a high cancelation rate.
Entering a check-in code prior to allowing a helper to enter your home or apartment enables you to verify that the right person has come to help you. Checking-out allows you to complete the task and ensure that your time balance is accurately updated.
You have the option to deny the helper's request to check-out and add comments to resolve the disagreement.
When you verify someone you allow the people in the community to connect with trusted and verified members. When you look for help, or look to help someone, it helps you to see how many times they have been verified and the last verified date.
This prompts your friends who has moved to update their address in frugbi and improves their credibility.

frugbi will take up to 48 hours to reconcile and automatically award you the hours stated during the checkout process. Hours will be added for the helper and the same number of hours will be subtracted from the requester.
